Natalia Bondarchuk was in Moscow in the family of the director Sergey Bondarchuk and the actress Inna Makarova. In 1971 she graduated from the department of acting at VGIK (class of Sergey Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova), in 1975 – from the department of directing at VGIK.  Debuted in cinema in 1970 in the film By the Lake (1970), then appeared in movies You and Me (1971), A Soldier Returned from the Front (1972). Her greatest success was the part of Hari in Andrei Tarkovsky’s Solaris. Debuted as a scriptwriter and director in 1975 with the novella Dishonest Matryonka in the almanac Old Times in Poshehonie. Among her most notable works are Bambi’s Childhood (1985), Bambi’s Youth (1986), Fyodor Tyutchev’s Love and Truth (2003), Pushkin. The Last Duel (2006), Gogol. The Closest (2009). Merited Artist of the Russian Federation (1977), Honored Worker of Arts of Russia (2009).

Talakadu Srinivasaiah Nagabharana was born on 23 January 1953 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Of the few film directors to have straddled both the mainstream as well as parallel cinema. Nagabharana was interested in filmmaking since his college days; he acted and directed many stage plays. In his teens he came under the indelible influence of the great playwright Adya Rangacharya. When in college he directed the plays Evam Indrajit and Shoka Chakra.

He worked as a backstage worker, actor, singer and director. 

For his achievement in theatre received a state award. He made more then thirty films so far and many of them have received prestigious awards at the state and national level, such as Eclipse (1978), Banker Margayya (1983), Detonation (1987), Santha Shishunala Sharifa (1989), Mysore Mallige (1991), Stone Boy (1991), Mutha, the Golden Boy (1993), Nagamandala (1996), Singaaravva (2002), Kallarali Hoovagi (2006). Nagabharana was the Chairman of the 1st BRICS Film Festival Jury.

Odelsha Agishev born on August 6, 1939 in Tashkent. In 1956 finished the Suvorov College in Tashkent, in 1962 graduated from the department of scriptwriting at VGIK. Agishev made his best films together with the director Elyor Ishmukhamedov. Tenderness”(1967) which won a prize in Locarno, and People in Love (1970), one of the top box-office movies of 1970, made him famous throughout the Soviet Union. He wrote scripts for such memorable movies as Extraordinary Commissar (1971), The Last Encounter (1974), We Are Not That Old! (1980), Youth of a Genius (1984), Human Wind (2006) and the documentary series Legends of the Silver Age, which was lauded with awards at national and international festivals. In 1985 Odelsha Agishev started teaching a scriptwriting class at VGIK. Among his students were Pyotr Lutsik, Alexei Samoriadov, Alexandr Gonorovsky, Ilia Rubinstein, Vladimir Moiseenko. Since 2013 Agishev teaches a class at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors.
