The is the story of the first and hardest winter in besieged Leningrad. February, 1942. The young woman Olga is walking across the town to see her father. She has just buried her husband and expects to die of hunger pretty soon. She wants to see her Dad one last time and say farewell to him. This movie is an Odyssey of the besieged city, where the viewer follows the main character across the city, meets different people and sees the plight of the city and its citizens. The movie is based on the works of Olga Berggolts, Daniil Granin and memories of the survivors of the siege

Many documents that the film relies upon are unique and will be displayed for the first time: declassified in-house footage of the Secret Police of the USSR; the raw footage shot by the crew of the director Sergei Gerasimov which was left out of the official film about the conference; encoded messages of the allies, maps, reports, briefs of Soviet military officials and many more.

“My Prince Edward” is set in Prince Edward district’s Golden Plaza, a shopping mall in Hong Kong best known for bridal shops and cheap wedding supplies. Fong is a clerk at one such bridal shop. A WWII veteran finds his diary amongst a bunch of letters and photographs. As the elderly man leafs through his diary, the memories immediately send him back to the heart of the war. There a young Sashka stands in the middle of a battle with fire, blood and dirt all around him. It is during this terrifying battle that he single-handedly takes a young German boy prisoner. Although the German awaits death, Sashka has given him his word, Russians do not shoot their prisoners. The headquarters’ battalion commander, whose girlfriend was killed during battle in the village, orders the fascist prisoner to be shot. The Russian soldier now faces his biggest decision.

A screen version of Zsuzsa F. Várkonyi’s best-seller “Those Who Remained”. 42-year-old Aladár leads a secluded life in Budapest. The parents of 16-year-old Klára perished in the concentration camp and her education has been entrusted to her aunt who does not understand the teenager at all. Klára meets Aladár and soon these strikingly different people discover the warmth in each other which the war seemed to have eradicated. Their tender relationship fills them and those around them with apprehension.
