ALEXANDER GALIBIN

Born in 1955 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg, Russia), USSR. He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music, and Cinema (class of Ruben Agamirzyan) and from the Russian Academy of Theatre Art (class of Anatoly Vasilyev). Was a chief director of Alexandrinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. Teaches at the Shchukin Drama College. Staged more than 50 plays in Russia and abroad. He is an acclaimed Russian actor and director, People’s Artist of Russia. His director’s filmography includes “40” (2007), “Comedians” (2010), “Gold Fish” (2015), “My Little Sister” (2019), etc.
